🌮 Frito Taco Salad

🛒 Ingredients
- 1 lb ground turkey (lean)
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- Chopped lettuce
- Finely diced onion
- Black olives
- Nonfat plain Greek yogurt (sour cream substitute)
- Taco sauce or salsa
- Nonfat or low-point cheese (e.g., Velveeta slices – 1 point each)
- Fritos (base layer)
👩🍳 Instructions
- In a skillet, cook the ground turkey over medium heat until browned.
- Add taco seasoning and a bit of water; stir and simmer until fully combined and thickened.
- While turkey cooks, prep toppings: chop lettuce, dice onion, black olives and gather yogurt, cheese, and salsa.
- Place a layer of Fritos on a plate or bowl.
- Top with cooked turkey and cheese while still hot so it melts slightly.
- Add lettuce, onion, Greek yogurt, black olives, peppers, and taco sauce or salsa on top.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
