This WW-friendly Frito Taco Salad is packed with lean ground turkey, crunchy chips, cheese, and all your favorite taco toppings. Just 2 Weight Watchers points per large serving!

🌮 Frito Taco Salad

🛒 Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground turkey (lean)
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • Chopped lettuce
  • Finely diced onion
  • Black olives
  • Nonfat plain Greek yogurt (sour cream substitute)
  • Taco sauce or salsa
  • Nonfat or low-point cheese (e.g., Velveeta slices – 1 point each)
  • Fritos (base layer)

👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. In a skillet, cook the ground turkey over medium heat until browned.
  2. Add taco seasoning and a bit of water; stir and simmer until fully combined and thickened.
  3. While turkey cooks, prep toppings: chop lettuce, dice onion, black olives and gather yogurt, cheese, and salsa.
  4. Place a layer of Fritos on a plate or bowl.
  5. Top with cooked turkey and cheese while still hot so it melts slightly.
  6. Add lettuce, onion, Greek yogurt, black olives, peppers, and taco sauce or salsa on top.
  7. Serve immediately and enjoy!
