🛒 Ingredients
- 1 lb lean ground turkey
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1 cup chopped bell peppers (any color)
- 1/2 cup sliced mushrooms
- 1/4 cup sliced black olives (drained)
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
- 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper (optional)
- 1 cup no-sugar-added tomato sauce
- 1/2 cup fat-free shredded mozzarella
- 16 turkey pepperoni slices (1 point total)
👩🍳 Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet, brown the ground turkey with onion, garlic powder, onion powder, and Italian seasoning.
- Add bell peppers, onions, mushrooms, and black olives; cook for 5–7 minutes until tender.
- Stir in tomato sauce and simmer for 3–5 minutes.
- Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and spread evenly.
- Sprinkle fat-free mozzarella on top and arrange the turkey pepperoni slices evenly across the top.
- Bake uncovered for 20–25 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Let cool slightly, slice into 4 servings, and enjoy!
